Science Phenomenons

1. UFO Clouds
Lenticular_UFO_001UFO Clouds are Lenticular clouds that form when strong moist winds blow over rough terrains, such as mountains ans valleys. As the wind flows over large features, it causes the clouds to condense into disk-shaped clouds that develop to the direction of the air flow.

2. Mammatus Clouds.
Mammatus clouds are are examples of clouds in sinking air. For one to form, the sinking air must be cooler then the air around it and have high liquid water or ice content. These clouds usually contain large drops of snow crystals since large particles are required for evaporation.

3. Sailing Stones.
Rocks weighing up to hundreds of pounds have been known to move up to hundreds of yards at a time. Some scientists say that the cause of this is the combination of strong winds and surface ice. However, it is still unknown what makes these rocks sail.

4. Penitentes.
These amazing ice spikes can be found on mountain glaciers and can very in size. Sun rays cause random dimples to appear on the surface of snow and once a dimple is formed, sunlight can be reflected, increasing the size. As this accelerates, deep troughs are formed, leaving peaks of ice.

5. Ball Lighting.

1. Ball lightning
Ball lightning is an extremely rare phenomenon where the electrical atmospheric charge associated with lightning forms a ball of plasma instead of a bolt. These balls can linger for several minutes and travel quite far, causing a great deal of damage. This extremely rare phenomenon happens when electrical atmospheric charges associate with lighting. They form balls of plasma instead of a bolt. These balls will linger for several minutes, causing a great deal of damage.
