Grossology at the Connecticut Science Center

For those of you who didn't go to this exhibit when it was at the Quad four years ago, you missed out on this:



For those of you who did go, you might be wondering (like I did) "Half this stuff wasn't there in the tiny visiting exhibits hall!  The only familiar thing is the faucet guy!"    Well, that's because this exhibit is visiting the Connecticut Science Center, a nine-story tall science museum in Hartford.  Where the visiting exhibit hall is one floor, not shared with three exhibits like ours.  Not saying ours is bad, but this kind of puts it to shame.Anyway, the museum also has a Sports Lab, GIANT space exhibit, and a LEGO area, among other things.  Be prepared to spend the day, and take the elevator (you'll see why).  Hours are 10-5, though check the calender on their site as some days aren't open as long.  Ticket prices:
Adult: $19
Senior (ages 65+): $16.50
Youth(3-17): $14
2 and under and Museum members: free

Randall's Farm Corn Maze

Ah, a corn maze, a symbol of fall.  The joy of not finding the cow (personal experience).  The Randall's Farm Corn Maze has been a favorite of many people in the area.

	Starts on September 13th, 2014 and occurs every week on Saturdays and Sundays until October 26th, 2014, including 10/13/14.

There's usually a corn maze too, and buy the ice cream, but do a small or kiddie cone as they are massive.
