Did You Know?

• Outside North and South America, the only alligators found in the wild are in China.

• President Lincoln's oldest son was connected to three presidential assassinations.  He was invited, but did not attend Ford's Theatre (but was by his father's deathbed in 1865). He was on the scene when Garfield was shot in 1881 and he was present for McKinley's assassination in 1901.

• Duct tape was developed in 1942 for use by the US Army as a waterproof sealing tape for ammunition boxes.

• View-Master (these things of coolness: where you put in a disk with pictures on it and can view them in 3-D) were first used to help people learn about the different types of planes during WWII.
