Cool Art Forms

Art is awesome.  Period, end of story.  But these artists take art to the next level, from shadows to colored pencils.  Shown below are pictures of some of these amazing art forms.

These peacocks made by Laurel Roth are made out of "mixed media including fake fingernails, nail polish, barrettes, false eyelashes, jewelry, walnut, swarovski crystal". Whoa.

Kate MccGwire molded pigeon feathers to make sculptures.

 

Luke Jerram makes viruses out of glass.  I like the thin tendrils on the virus body

Jennifer Maestre creates art out of colored pencils.  She originally was going to do nails, but she wanted color and something that wasn't as painful.

 

Guido Daniele is known for his body paintings as well as his hand art, but I found the hand art first.  The toucan is cool.
