Giants

Giants have a lot of stories, everywhere. Even the Bible has a verse, reading:
"There were giants in the earth in those days. . . "
All over the world, there have been stories about Giants. Here are just a few of them.

Greece:
After Zeus gained control of the universe by throwing his uncles the Titans into Tartarus, Gaea, the titans mother, had revenge by creating huge giants, one to oppose each god. Only gods and mortal heroes together could face these beasts, and the gods HATED mortals, except for the ladies that they had kids with. The giants were eventually defeated.

Rome.
Rome had the same story, only  switching a few names.

America
Several native americans were afraid of cannibalistic red-headed giants near new Mexico.

Norse Mythology
The Norse had several giants in their mythology, who were ever trying to get into Asgard and kill Thor, who frequently lashed out at them. Some of these were known as Frost Giants.

And, last, my personal favorite:

Bulgaria.
In Bulgarian myths, giants came before modern humans. They lived in the mountains and fought against the dragons. The Giants were afraid of blackberries', because of the  bushes, which posed a danger of tripping and dying, so they offered sacrifices to the blackberry bushes.

Giants are everywhere in mythology. They are good, they are bad, they are afraid of blackberries... How could they not have existed in some form on the earth once? Even today, we tell kids about how giants once existed. Jack and the beanstalk, the Giants in movies-- We haven't completely left the time of those myths yet. Could they really exist??? You decide. As for me, I believe in giants. I live with one.
