Puff and the incredible Mr. Nobody
Romeo Muller

This book is about a boy named Terry, who wished for a friend. This friend appeared in one of his dresser drawers, a duck named Mr Nobody, with a pan on his head. Terry grows with him. Then, one day, Nobody is gone, and who should appear but Puff the Magic Dragon, ready to help Terry find his friend. For the little kids.

A Tale Dark and Grimm

This story is not for little kids. This is the TRUE story of Hansel and Gretel, and it is a bloody story, with witches and devils, evil parents and horrible dragons. In this book, Hansel and Gretel go wandering through the Grimm stories of Faithful Johannes, Hansel and Gretel, the Seven Ravens, The Devil with three golden hairs, the robber bridegroom, a DRAGON!, and more. An enjoyable read. 10 and up.

Dragon Slippers, by Jessica Day George.

Creel is an ordinary farm girl, with a talent for embroidery, before her aunt decides to throw her to the dragon. Instead of being eaten, Creel gets a gift, a beautiful pair of slippers, and decides to travel to the capital city, the King's Seat, and apprentice to a dress shop. There are dragons of all sizes and colors throughout this story. Again, about ten and up.
