Events this week (through a time machine...)
I thought that i would do a special for events (maybe one time, maybe not), so I went through a week, Wednesday to Wednesday, and see what major events happened on each day, but back through the years. Enjoy!

Japan signs the document of surrender aboard the USS Missouri in 1945, ending World War II

The Treaty of Paris is signed by Great Britain and the new United States in 1783, formally bringing the American Revolution to an end.
In 1838, Frederick Douglass escapes slavery disguised as a sailor. He would later write The Narrative Life of Frederick Douglass, his memoirs about slave life.
