Truman Burbank has been part of a non-stop TV series for his whole life, he was even born on TV. Everyone around him is a actor, he is a actor too, but he doesn't know that he is. The creators of the TV show don't want him to leave the island that the show is being filmed because then he'll get to the real world. The movie shows you how Truman starts finding strange things out, like when he wants to drive away from the island, cars go in the way to stop him from leaving. Then when he starts to go away the cars go away too.
What I liked about the movie was the Director's idea of a movie inside of a movie, and also how the movie was acted. The way in which it was acted well was it really made you feel like you were watching the TV show, and a real man's life. When I watched this movie I wondered whether everyone around me was a actor and is my life a TV show, and is my life real. I hope you will think that too, and also enjoy it.
