interview with Shewolf

What are your favorite classes? Drawing, Watercolor, and Newspaper

What is your least favorite class? I don't have one

Since it's your first year in Mullberry, what do you think about this kind of school?

I think that this type of school is much more free than the school I went to last year. What I mean by free is that everything we learn is not test driven, or teachers teach us stuff for the test and nothing but the test. Mulberry is not like that. Teachers teach us things that we can use in real life. Take Public Speaking for an example. If you wanted to give a speech when you get older or  to a job interview and seem professional, Public Speaking is definitely going to help you in life. knowing that George Washington cut down a cherry tree when he was young is not going to help you get a job.

So you used to do public school, right? Yes.

What was it like? As I said in the third question, everything in my old school (from about 3rd grade and up) was test driven. Also there was no time to be social. People say that homeschooling decreases a child's social life, but how is sitting for roughly five hours and forty-five minutes without being able to talk, interact or even look at each other being social? At my old school they expected us to do the impossible. Basicly be an adult at ages 10, 9 and even just 7 years old! And the list goes on and on and on and on… Public School isn't terrible, but it’s not wonderful.

If you had to choose between Homeschooling and Public School, which would you choose?  Definitely Homeschooling.

If you could change one thing about Mullberry, what would it be? I would create a science or math class.
