the U.S.A: a painting by me

Hello folks, last Sunday I made a painting that I want to share with y'all today. This painting i made from a combination of two movies, the Hunger Games:Mockingjay and a documentary called "Out Of Darkness". These two movies inspired me to make a painting about justice, the government and what they are hiding from us. This is my result: in all the corners of the canvas there is fire coming towards a pentagon. The fire represents justice and the pentagon represents the government. Inside the government there are corporation signs. I put this here because everyone knows that corporations run the government and if you don't, let me inform you. The United States government is run by corporations with a lot of money like Target, Walmart  (which also runs the public educ. and helped fund common core) Nike, Toyota, and Apple.


I put these six symbols in the pentagon. inside those six symbols i put a brown door that leads to a bridge. This bridge then leads to a door. This door is filled with light and leads to what i call the promise land. The justice fires goal is to get to this door. but before the fires can even get to the pentagon they must first get passed the traps that the government has set for them. there are four types of traps i put on my painting. Two of them involve money and the other two is a distraction. The ones that representing money are shown in two different ways: a greenish pool of water that represents putting the fire out(just like money can put people out) and little brick spaces that look harmless but in some spots have money holes. This represents the traps we fall for as people. Like the big apple watches and the target clothes, the expensive Nike shoes and all those things that ultimately fuel more distractions for us to not see the real picture. The other ones are distractions that don't involve money but the government (or corporations) do to distract us from ,again, the bigger picture. these are represented in two ways in my painting. the first ones are big black wholes that look like big cracks in pavement. the other one is a big spiral going downward and nowhere. These two represent revolutionaries trying so hard fix little thing that leads to little things and the government knows this. So they put out expensive business in our community and then step back and say it's not our fault. But take a look at who funded the business. Who wrote the loan? Who gave the permission? Certainly not the people themselves. the banks did who also own the government. We are so busy blaming the little guys who are just trying to make a living that we don't see the person behind them. This is what the dark holes are and the winding staircases are for all the problems that we find that just (even though we are finding them out) are leading us nowhere and are taking us farther and farther away from the big picture until we can't see it at all and are just tires of it. In metaphor the fire goes down that spiral staircase and just gets tired afterwards and goes out. These are all the traps in my painting that protect the pentagon that protect or mask the corporations that are hiding the way to the promise land.
