Jasper: What's your favorite class?
Devorah: A tie between History Middle and Literature Senior.
J: What are you doing in those classes?
D: In history, we're learning about the Mayans, and in Literature, we're reading To Kill a Mockingbird (which the interviewer doesn't like).
J: If you could make up a class, what would it be?
D: I don't know.
J: What extracurriculars do you do?
D: I play the clarinet and take karate.
J: Why do you like being homeschooled?
D: Because you get more freedom over your academic life and you get to choose more of what you do.
