The City Museum in St. Louis, MO

A couple years ago I, online, stumbled across an article about The City Museum in St. Louis.  I've done some more research into it and it keeps sounder cooler.

The building the Museum is in was once the International Shoe factory.  The factory didn't have freight elevators; they had chutes.  Well, Bob Cassilly (the man who created the museum) turned the chutes in SLIDES.  You read that right.  SLIDES.  There are 19 slides inside and outside the building, ranging in height from a few feet to ten stories.  The museum also has the world's largest pair of underwear, a Ferris wheel and school bus on the roof, two Sabreliner 40 aircraft fuselages suspended in the air in the giant playground outside, the Puking Pig, a small aquarium, and functioning shoelace machines, among other things.  I'll let the photos do the talking now.
