Plot

Hiro Hamada is your typical rebellious 14 year old robotics genius in the futuristic city of San Fransoyko: he participates in illegal robotics fights.

That's his robot.  It's really cool.
His older brother Tadashi thinks this is a dumb idea and takes Hiro to the tech lab at the super fancy university he attends.  Tadashi's friends GoGo, Fred, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon make really cool stuff.  Fred is also the school mascot.

Tadashi shows Hiro the robot he's been working on: Baymax, a health care robot.
Hiro gets a change of heart and enters in the school's science competition to get a scholarship.  He makes mini versions of his fighting robot that can work independently or as one.

A fire breaks out in the university and the head of the university, Professor Callaghan, and Tadashi die.  Hiro is mourning when he accidentally wakes up Baymax, who Tadashi brought home a few months before.  Baymax follows one of Hiro's microbots into an abandoned warehouse.  They find that someone is mass-producing the microbots and a masked man is controlling them.  Hiro, Baymax, and Tadashi's friends form a team and save the world.

My Opinion

I like most Disney movies.  I really do.  But this one didn't really speak to me.  There's obviously going to be a sequel, the last minute of the movie made no sense with the rest of the movie.  It seems to be following in Frozen's path, but with better music.  I  give it a 4/5.
